The second alpha of TYPO3 4.6 is available as of today for the general public. It can be downloaded here: http://typo3.org/download/packages/
If you were wondering what’s new in this release then you should know that the following changes/new features are included:
- XLIFF support – XLIFF language files are now supported
- Default CSS from extension may be removed : config.removeDefaultCss = 1
- Page cache supports start and stop times with a precision of a minute
- Caching framework in line with FLOW3
- PHP_SCRIPT* objects have been deprecated
The next release will include probably lots of new things and changes because when it will be released it will incorporate the work done during T3DD by the teams involved in this version.
