The romanian console gaming community is petitioning Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo and the European Union too, in their quest to force the producers of the popular XBox, Playstation and Nintendo consoles to provide online services support for the romanian console market.
As you can read here they ask to be treated as equals to consumers in other countries as they have payed the same price and are entitled to the same treatment. The mentioned consoles promise unmatched online experience to users but they give no warning that the promised three or six months of unlimited access to online services won’t work in Romania. There is no such service for Romania. The users remain with the money taken and with less then promised as user experience.
So they only ask what they have payed for, and at the time of this blog post the total number of players who signed the petition was around four thousand people.
